Manager: Brand Advertising

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following locations: San Francisco or New York

The Brand and Advertising Manager is an Individual Contributor role and is responsible for supporting all activities related to the planning and implementing brand and advertising campaigns for the First Citizens Bank and Silicon Valley Bank brands. This position is in support of planning, managing and measurement of advertising initiatives that increase client awareness and profitability for assigned lines of business. Implements strategic programs targeting client acquisition and retention, revenue growth, and referred business.

• Manage day to day execution of Advertising Campaigns: Serve as internal project manager for the advertising campaigns, keeping key constituents in the loop on schedules, approvals and feedback deadlines, setting up relevant meetings/reviews and disseminating meeting notes after the fact, etc.
• Coordinate with Internal Partners: Work closely with internal partners (LOB Marketing Group, Events, Marketing operations, Content, etc.) to gain input and approval on placements, content and creative for the campaigns. Own and manage sponsorship advertising fulfillment.
• Communication: Work with Comms partners (Internal Comms, Social, etc.) to amplify the communications plan around the campaign so that the Company at large is aware of the campaign (e.g., activating updates on internal channels.
• Financial Management - Facilitates the development of marketing initiatives and associated budgets to include developing sales goals, preparing budgets, submitting estimates, and projecting return on investment.
• Vendor Management - Manages relationships and performance of vendors contracted to marketing projects. Serves as a primary point of contact with advertising agency account manager.
• Ensure all materials are approved and filed within asset management system for audit purposes.

Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of experience in the area of advertising, brand management or marketing communication OR High School diploma or GED with 6-8 years of advertising, brand management or marketing communications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services marketing
• Strong analytical, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work on multiple priorities
• Successfully demonstrated project management experience
• Written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of advertising/paid mediums, development, and delivery Multichannel campaign management.

The base pay for this position in CA or NY is generally between $104850- $181740 annually. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
