In this role, you will:



  • Manage the workflow of a scrum team from Sprint to the project end.
  • Identify and eliminate obstacles that prevent the team from achieving their goals and ensure effective communication within/across project teams.

  • Responsible for building strong projects/programs through identifying and implementing possible improvement
  • Build and leverage partnerships with Scrum Masters, Product Managers, Product Owners, and other contributors
  • Coach program leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Agile Methodology practices and mindsets
  • Work with Product Leaders to drive the definition and refinement of program backlogs and roadmaps
  • Continually inspect the process, discover and address major concerns
  • Help identify and remove impediments; Escalate risks and program needs, as appropriate
  • Maintain metrics that provide visibility to stakeholders on program progress and quality and know-how to leverage those metrics to identify program needs
  • Develop agile-based SDLC/APLC for new software development organizations creating necessary standards, tools, and best practices.



Who You Are:

  • Someone with the spirit of an educator and thus get excited about mentoring and knowledge sharing.
  • We want you to participate in Agile methodology thought leadership - both within Centric and in the community.
  • Consulting experience is strongly preferred.
  • CSM certification and experience working with Agile project tools (such as Jira, Pivotal, etc.) is preferred.
  • Experienced Scrum Master with a minimum of 4 years of experience building and leading different types of teams with a proven track record of delivering successful Agile projects.
  • We are looking for team members with a track record of working with technologists and understanding their world, and who can also work with product owners to make solutions happen.


A successful candidate will have the following characteristics:



  • 7+ years' experience in Software Development, Quality Assurance, Business Analysis or Project Management in an Agile Scrum environment
  • 3+ years' experience working in an agile environment.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM or PSM 1) and experience working with Agile project tools (such as Jira, Pivotal, etc.) is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) best practices.
  • Proactive approach and ability to develop trusted advisor relationships with mission/function leaders.
  • Scrum master experience in a complex large-scale enterprise.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to coach and mentor the team to reach their highest potential.
  • Excellent team player and team builder.
  • Experience in an agile environment in other roles, such as quality assurance, development, product owner, or as an agile coach.
    Excellent interpersonal skills.
