Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
* Ensure daily, safe operations and crew safety
* Utilization of CMMS at the highest level
* Maintain liaison with operations through effective communications
* Facilitate maintenance activities with production
* Maintain integrity of Preventive Maintenance program
* Manage supplemental maintenance activities (vendors and contractors)
* Review of work orders for each significant piece of information
* Assign work orders needing planning and materials to planning backlog
* Identify recurring mechanical / electrical problems
* Establish and maintain equipment parts catalogs and equipment history
* Maintain technical library (service manuals, technical documents, blueprints, etc.)
* Coordinate preventive maintenance programs (quarterly inspections, equipment surveys, etc.)
* Interface with Storeroom to develop min/max levels and job kits
* Prepare daily/weekly schedule and work orders for maintenance supervisors
* Prepare required reports and maintain data and other records as required
* Maintain the highest level of equipment availability within areas of responsibility

Technical knowledge/skills
* Working knowledge of CMMS/Project Management software.
* Understanding of how maintenance works; time, materials, people, tools, etc.
* Proficiency in Google Suite
* Intermediate proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting machine systems
* Knowledge of rotating equipment, machine design, bearings and lubrication
* Ability to read blueprints, schematics, shop drawings, and sketches
* Familiar with standard manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedure
* Demonstrated experience developing, prioritizing and executing plans to deliver results and
achieve operating objectives.
* Understand and apply principles of root cause analysis for problem solving and equipment failure

Leadership/Supervision
Work requires direct supervision of maintenance project and personnel

Education/Experience
* Minimum High School Graduate/GED Equivalent, College Degree and/or Trade Certification
preferred
* Five (5+) years skilled trade experience, plus two (2+) years supervisory experience

Travel Requirements: Limited domestic travel
Working Conditions: Office, travel, and outdoors/indoors within a Process Plant and Mine
environment. Approximately 70% of the work is administrative in nature
Physical Requirements: Computer, ability to make oral presentations, lifting objects up to 40
lbs., standing or sitting for extended periods, extended or irregular hours, bending, climbing,
kneeling, stooping, walking on uneven terrain. Must be able to wear all required personal
protective equipment and working outdoors in temperature extremes
