Acquisitions Specialist Crystal City / Hybrid MUST : Active DoD Secret Clearance 10+ years of Acquisitions experience in Federal or DoD fields Must have strong DoD acquisitions experience Strong knowledge and understanding of policy and procedures of DoD/DoN 5000 process Experience supporting Navy work in the past preferrable Naval Science and Technology (S&T) or Future Naval Capabilities (FNC) programs Experience with contract negotiations and contractual document management to include SOWs and CDRLs Strong communication skills both written and verbal Extremely analytical with high attention to details Able to work well various levels of management teams Bachelor's Degree or 5 addtional years of relevant professional experience DUTIES : The ideal candidate will use past experience in the DoD to support Program initiative by providing acquisitions, contractual and technical data support to include the development of statements of work, special contract requirements, and delivery schedules and supporting contract negotiations, and maintaining contractual document files Provide program advisory support including detailed/comprehensive analysis of interpreting technical and programmatic elements Help to prepare routine and non-routine correspondence and documentation, program presentations and briefings, and program management reports Development of Procurement Requests including Statements of Work (SOWs), contract Section B through J, generation of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) utilizing current Data Item Descriptions Development of a tool to track contract ceiling, funded cost and fee by appropriation, and Technical Instructions Work with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and Contracting Officer to resolve contract development/execution issues Support acquisition/business status review meetings maintaining a database contractual documents and develop and maintain a contractual milestone schedule.
