Angiography Technologist - Radiology Washington DC NW MUST: Vocational/Technical Diploma from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. Associate of Science in Radiologic Science; candidates must also demonstrate competency in didactic coursework and an ARRT-specified list of clinical procedures by completing competency requirements established for the discipline in which they are seeking certification and registration. A minimum of six months hands-on training, and prior clinical experience. ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology). BLS (Basic Life Support). Cardiac Interventional Certification in Vascular Interventional (VI), Cardiac-Interventional (CI), or CVT (Certified Vascular Technologist) must be obtained within eighteen months of hire. Current experience in interventional angiography preferred. DUTIES: As an Angiography Technologist, you will perform neuro and vascular interventional examinations in accordance with established protocols, as directed by the attending radiologist. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and the Hospital's philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards.
