Project Planner/ QA Specialist (PMO)

MUST:

Active Secret required

Experienced Project Planner/ QA Specialist (PMO)


Must have a current IA Level II Certification prior to hiring (e.g., Sec+)

2+ years of experience using MS Office or similar tool for tracking, managing, and visualizing the tasks and plan(s) of action.

Strong schedule analytical skills and experience

Strong experience with Master Planning/Scheduling process

Strong knowledge and experience in all aspects of program / project management

Experience working with, and coordinating the activities, of multidisciplinary and disparate teams

Knowledge of critical path methods

Minimum of a Bachelor of Science (or higher) in one of the following: computer engineering, computer science, IT, cyber security, or a related field.

Relevant years of experience may be used in substitution for situations where the candidate does not have a bachelor's degree in the required field.


DUTIES:

Will be responsible for managing all project scheduling activities in collaboration with the Government and Contractor Team.

The planning and quality are critical to the success of the mission due to the intricacies associated with each system and location's unique authority to operate, assessment timelines and schedules, system sizes and complexity, types of authorization sought, and other factors.

Support the Program Management Office (PMO) in the development and maintenance of the MS Teams Channel Planner, automation, and updates.

Serve as the lead in preparing schedules for the PMO responsible for Risk Management Framework, Assurance Operations, System and Application Scanning, Zero Trust Policy and DevSecOps

Developing and maintaining the Program Integrated Master Plan/Schedule associated with the entire project lifecycle, from project initiation through project closeout.

Integrating all program activities, including program management, engineering/development, operations, and related activities into the master plan

Establishing logic, predecessors, and successors to develop the critical path for a program.

Developing, updating, and maintaining schedule performance metrics, related processes, and management tools within the organization, including, but not limited to, critical path analysis and schedule risk assessment.

Advising the Program Manager and key stakeholders on schedule performance, forecasts, and risks

Support completion of deliverables including coordination of due dates and all actions items

Working closely with line managers to monitor workloads and balance assignments to assure adequate resources are placed against tasks including notice to Government of any potential delays.

Assist with tracking status of checklists and packages from submission through approval or disapproval decision by the Action Officer

Support Follow on actions (e.g., coordination on resolution of data anomalies, ticketing, and other issues)

Identifying, negotiating, and resolving conflicts between the stakeholders in the Master Planning/Scheduling process

Participating in program reviews and preparing schedule for schedule surveillance/audits

Assisting with quality assurance of contract deliverables

Performing other related duties as assigned by management.
