Description
The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for various aspects of general ledger accounting and financial reporting. This includes financial statement preparation and analysis as well as creation of periodic reporting for senior management. The position will also assist with monthly closing entries and reconciliations, high level review of various reports and processes to ensure completeness and accuracy, financial and internal control related projects, and a broad range of other accounting functions. Position Requirements A Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance is required with a minimum 3.25 GPA, along with 3-5 years past work experience in a financial accounting or analyst role. Candidates with relevant experience in the Banking industry are preferred. Proficiency in Excel and strong general PC skills are required. The candidate should also have strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, as well as a proactive work ethic.
