IDS is seeking a Primary Instructor/Site Lead to lead a Technical Assistance Field Team (TAFT) that will provide in-country training, technical support, and advice for HIMARS Systems in Orzysz, Poland.The Primary Instructor/Site Lead will be responsible for the management and execution of contract requirements, and must be able to direct trainers and effectively interface with the client.

Responsibilities:
  • Serves as primary in-country point of contact, lead instructor, and supervisor for TAFT.
  • Acts as liaison between all stakeholders.
  • Responsible for the instruction of specific lesson(s) of the Program.
  • Assures that students obtain proficiency in each module of instruction before they proceed to the next area of instruction.
  • Responsible for the design, development, administration, and grading of all written and practical examinations.
  • Responsible for assuring that course goals and objectives are met IAW the PWS.
  • Provides instructors and students with counsel, mentoring, and assessment of their academic performance as required.

Required Qualifications:
  • Active Secret clearance
  • 5+ years of experience in managing programs, training, and oversight for projects of a similar size and scope.
  • Previously completed a successful HIMARS Battery experience, with additional operational experience in the field environment.
  • Experience as one or more of the following: HIMARS Tactical Control Officer or Tactical Control Assistant; HIMARS Tactical Director or Tactical Director Assistant; HIMARS Battery Trainer; and/or BN Standardizations.
  • Serve as an PAF-HIMARS Instructor Trainer on the employment, operation, and maintenance of the Poland HIMARS system.

Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds, but may vary depending on the position. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
