Job Description

The University of Missouri-Columbia, Department of Medicine is seeking a clinical non-tenure track faculty member for the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. We seek applicants who have exemplary clinical skills, demonstrated ability in clinical evidence of sustained scholarship, and a strong interest in teaching. Expectations for the position:
-Clinics: 8 clinic sessions per week
-Inpatient consult: 1 weekend every 6 weeks

-Preferred procedures: Ultrasound and Fine Needle Aspiration
-Recently moved into a fully renovated, up-to-date clinic with two new ultrasound machines

-Support Staff: LPN and CAN support staff, features 2 diabetes educators on site including a certified dietitian with pump certification
-Hospital affiliation: 300-bed tertiary referral center, Level I trauma center, Ellis Fischel Cancer Center
