Overview The Pediatric Team Manager oversees the delivery of patient/family care across the life span (perinatal, pediatrics, and adults) in a defined geographic region. Oversees the day-to-day operations of pediatric and perinatal services. Applies concepts derived from management and communication theory, group dynamics, coaching/education methodologies and expert clinical judgment to ensure optimum quality of patient care and services. This role will report to the Sr. Director fo Clinical Services. The Elizabeth Hospice is San Diego's oldest non-profit hospice of 45 years. We are growing and looking for talented individuals to join our high performing team and support our mission. We serve all of San Diego county and south Riverside county with multiple hospice office locations. Our Mission: To enhance the quality of life for those nearing the end of life's journey and for those who grieve. Salary: $128,000 - $145,000 Subject to experience and qualifications. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, on-call required. Work Location: Escondido, CA Travel: Travel required for supervisory patient visits. Occasional travel for educational purposes. Responsibilities 1. Assure compliance with all federal, state, and local health care regulations as they affect the provision of clinical services. Qualifications 1. Bachelor's in Nursing Degree required; 3+ years healthcare management experience with 2 years hospice supervisory responsibilities preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
