UNC School of Medicine and Novant Health to provide specialty care to children from communities throughout southeastern and coastal NC The Novant Health - New Hanover Regional Medical Center (NH-
NHRMC) facility is a full spectrum community-based, multispecialty practice and a children's hospital that includes a 45 bed Level
III
NICU, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and inpatient unit. The faculty member will also be expected to develop and perform clinical activities in surrounding outreach locations in Southeastern NC.

UNC Children's, NH-
NHRMC will become the tertiary care referral hospital for children in Coastal and Southeastern NC. Additionally, there will be ongoing expansion of educational opportunities with medical students, other health profession students, and residents. Though not the primary focus of the center, research opportunities are also available.
This is a full-time clinical faculty position, with focus on outpatient care but also to include some inpatient consultation services. The candidate must be board certified / eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology. Expertise in management of high prevalence endocrinology conditions of children but also willingness and interest in managing rare and complex conditions with the support of the
UNC Children's Hospital in Chapel Hill is expected. This is an excellent opportunity to join the current pediatric endocrinologists in a very busy practice with opportunity for future growth. Additionally, the position is based in a terrific community setting with teaching and educational opportunities, while also being connected to a larger academic division in Chapel Hill. Salary will be based on experience and aligned to community-based specialist rates. Incentive compensation will support highly productive providers and meeting other targets aligned with broad system goals.
