Daikin is looking for a Sr Director - Finance to join our team! The Sr. Director - Finance is responsible for all operational cost controlling and finance matters. With general direction, you will be responsible for the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual analysis reports for the consolidated company, assigned business units and expense roll-up groups.

A Day in the Life:




    • Analyze trends, risks, opportunities, targets and key business drivers to develop high-quality financial analysis to provide context and insight to decision makers across the organization
    • Partner closely with business unit / functional leaders and managers to lead strategy, planning & execution
    • Develop and maintain financial models, templates to support operational planning, budgeting, and forecasting
    • Focus management on the appropriate metrics and actions based on those metrics across the organization, assuring effective tracking of operational performance
    • Lead the annual budget process and periodic forecast process to build realistic and fully-explainable budgets and forecasts improve revenue, expense, and unit forecasting and support strategic decision making
    • Ensure accounting policies, procedures, and controls for operations are properly implemented, maintained, and monitored
    • Monitor and analyze operational costs, including direct and indirect expenses, to identify cost-saving opportunities
    • Direct and analyze studies of general economic, industry, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization's strategies, policies and operations
    • Participate in acquisition programs in which appropriate targets are evaluated, acquired and integrated
    • Other duties as assigned

What you will Bring:




    • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related field
    • 10 years of Finance leadership experience
    • 5+ yers in a Controller/ Cost Accounting role required




Preferred




    • Masters in Finance or MBA
    • CPA certification
