This position is to perform technical work in prescribed procedures for diagnostic radiographic studies of patients. Detailed Description: Operate various imaging equipment in department. Perform diagnostic quality radiographs. Work with various information systems (HIS, RIS, PACS). Demonstrate appropriate customer service skills. Provide basic patient care. Work with various information systems (HIS, RIS, PACS). Perform complex tasks associated with the operation of advanced fluoroscopy equipment to produce special radiographic Maintain accurate patient records. Provide orientation for new technologists. Understand and use the image archival Provide education and training for student technologists. SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Supervision over Student Tech Assistants and Students performing clinical rotations. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: ARRT certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within one (1) year as a condition of PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
