Senior Software Engineer

Key Task:

The Senior Software Engineer will contribute to the design and perform software development for new mission capabilities. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with software and system developers to integrate and test software components to meet requirements. May support projects that operate in an Agile or Tradition (waterfall) environment .

Job Requirements:



  • Minimum of ten (10) years in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution. The individual must be able to communicate directions and provide guidance to junior programmer/analysts, as required
  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience developing software with high level languages such as Java
  • Minimum four (4) years' experience developing software for UNIX/Linux (Redhat) operating systems.


Required Skills:

  • Maven / Junit
  • IntelliJ / Eclipse or other mainstream IDE
  • Linux / VMs
  • MongoDB or Elasticsearch
  • Angular / vue.js / JQuery / JavaScript
  • REST / Jersey / JSON
  • OSGI Apache Karaf or Apache Tomcat or Spring
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience with Jenkins Continuous Integration Tool
  • Experience with concurrent/threaded applications/components
  • Understanding of digital signal processing
  • X-MIDAS experience is a plus



Education/Certifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technology field
