Additional Job Description: WVUHS System Medical Group is seeking an experienced an Emergency Medicine Director to join our community emergency medicine practice. Uniontown Hospital is a compassionate, dedicated community hospital providing a full range of medical care to residents of Fayette County and the surrounding areas for more than a century. Health care services provided at our acute and specialty care hospital include an award-winning Cardiology Department and catheterization lab, an award-winning Stroke Center, a state-of-the-art Wound Healing Center. Qualified applicants must have an MD or DO degree and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted state medical license in Pennsylvania. Candidates will have completed an accredited residency program and be board-certified or board-eligible via a recognized board within the American Board of Medical Specialties. Emergency Medicine Board Certification required. Demonstrates ability to speak effectively on administrative and clinical matters related to emergency medicine. Possess the ability to appropriately focusses on the audience, whether administrators, medical staff members, EMS providers, or the lay public.
