The Ronald O. Perelman Department of Emergency Medicine is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients, trainees, and the broader community through excellence in patient care, education, and research.We are currently recruiting ultrasound-trained faculty members to join our vibrant Ultrasound Division. The Ultrasound Division comprises six faculty members, and supports clinical and educational emergency ultrasound (EUS) across all clinical sites: NYULH-Tisch Hospital, NYULH-BK, NYULH-Cobble, and Bellevue Hospital Center. Ultrasound faculty oversee EUS education for the Emergency Medicine Residency Program, Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship, Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship, and medical students. We particularly seek faculty members with educational expertise and interest in overseeing Emergency Medicine Resident ultrasound education, including supervising and teaching ultrasound core content didactics, a two-week ultrasound rotation, resident scanning shifts, and training verification for all graduates. Clinically, we have the privilege of caring for over 400,000 diverse patients annually at our clinical sites across Manhattan, Brooklyn and Long Island. Salary Range: $260k-$280k The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range; consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital/community need, and other factors. Applicants must be graduates of an ACGME or AOA accredited Emergency Medicine Residency Program and Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship, and have Focused Practice Designation (FDP) certification or eligibility.
