THE ROLE:
AMD is looking for dynamic and energetic SR Engineer - Program Manager to join our NTSG - Network Technology Solutions Group. Our team fosters continuous innovation and is committed to nurturing your career growth.
THE PERSON:
You will provide support for our NTSG - Network Technology Solutions Group and join the team that is responsible for readying our hardware for release to production. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SR Engineer - Program Manager who can drive activities to successful completion. The successful candidate will have experience in manufacturing, demand planning, supply chain role, preferably in high tech hardware or semiconductor industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Have very good understanding of program product lifecycle management and quality assurance activities needed during the development cycle
* Collaborate with product, hardware, software and manufacturing teams to ensure products meet product performance, quality, reliability requirements from our customers.
* Lead and partner with internal ASIC, HW, SW and manufacturing team to collect and compile Root Cause Analysis (RCA) information
* Initiate data collection repository. Validate logs, timelines, operation process sequence pertaining to technical root cause of failure.
* Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to root cause the failure from sustaining production and field failure. Put corrective action in place to close manufacturing process & design gap, missed standards, compliance and management systems gaps and fast track implementation.
* Partner with customer-facing teams and provide regular update on follow-up actions and customer requests.
* Present for RCA reviews with Leadership Team and provide learning for future programs as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* 8+ years of experience in technical program management or failure analysis that delivers results and impact. Collaborative, problem solving approaches to work across multiple stakeholders' groups and external partners
* Capable of technical deep dives into ASIC, platform design, verification flows, manufacturing process
* Ability to extract and summarize large, complex data from multiple data sources and teams. Knowledge of root cause analysis, 5-why methodology, root cause mapping techniques.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate clearly and listen empathetically. Established track record to present and influence key stakeholders and leadership teams in driving improvement and efficiencies regarding matters of significance to the organization.
* Individual effectiveness skills such as discipline, time management, decision making, planning and organizing work, summarizing results through reports.
* Able to plan work, and work to a plan adapting as necessary in a rapidly evolving environment.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or other related fields.
