JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Department of Electrical Engineering at Penn State is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new techniques related to machine learning for electronic design with a focus on semiconductor packaging, as well as high frequency design and measurements with applications in sub-THz communication and computing.

A PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is required by the start date. The successful candidate should have a strong background in machine learning, along with a background in radio frequency electronics. The Postdoctoral Scholar will be associated with two centers: the Center for Advanced Electronics through Machine Learning (CAEML) and Center for Heterogeneous Integration of Micro Electronic Systems (CHIMES).For additional information about CAEML, please click here.
