The original project was a large-scale, community-level randomized trial of 28 rural and semi-rural communities in Iowa and Pennsylvania. At the start of the study, nearly 11,000 youth participated in this trial, data collection has been on-going starting in 6th grade, continuing into their mid-twenties. This project will focus on those young adults who have had children to understand the intergenerational impact of PROSPER for the second generation.
