JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Penn State Abington's Science and Engineering Division seeks an instructor in the area of Physics for a part-time appointment to begin Fall 2024. Job Duties The successful candidate will teach college level courses in physics, specifically PHYS 211, General Physics (mechanics/kinematics/dynamics) and PHYS 212, General Physics (electricity/magnetism). The ideal candidate should be open to offering flexibility in course scheduling and methods of course delivery. Requirements And Qualifications Applicants must have the ability to communicate effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse student population. Candidates must have completed at least a Master's degree in either physics or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level. The review process will begin immediately and continue until the vacancy is filled.
