JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State York is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach courses supporting Penn State York's engineering technology associate and baccalaureate degrees.

Subject matter includes courses in Statics (MET 111 and EMCH 211), Strength of Materials (MET 213, MET 214, EMET 222, and EMCH 213), and in Dynamics (MET 206, EMET 225, and EMCH 212). Detailed course descriptions appear in the Penn State Bulletin (bulletins.psu.edu).

Candidates should meet the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of a master`s degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited institution is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Prior teaching experience is strongly preferred

A teaching demonstration will be required as part of the on-campus interview. Start date for the position is August 16, 2024.
