JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Job Duties
  • Teaching one to three undergraduate level courses(1-3 credits each; up to a maximum of 9 credits per semester) each spring and/or fall semester depending on expertise and needs.
  • Additional duties may vary by assignment.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Masters or equivalent experience/qualifications required in the Mathematics discipline (or closely related field) or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • One or more of the following preferred: teaching experience, Ph.D.

Teaching assignments may require teaching day, evening, or weekend classes, as needed. Most teaching assignments will require in-person instruction, with occasional opportunities for remote teaching.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
