Summary/Objective Responsible to drive sales on all commodity items within their division, ensure that all day-to- day customer needs are met, ensure that LCI meets or exceeds all customer expectations, effectively communicate between customers, LCI ops and sales leads all needs, frustrations, and expectations of the customers, and identify and thwart all threats to existing business. Essential Functions
- Adhere to LCI's core values and mission statement.
- Managing all day-to-day customer account responsibilities and ensure that customers are satisfied with all products and services supplied by LCI on existing business.
- Be the eyes and ears of the company to identify, report, and help combat competitive threats created by competitive pressure, quality issues, backorders and the like.
- Identify and take action to eliminate all negative perceptions of customers related to LCI and its products, reputation, and operations.
- Responsible to keep clear lines of communication with the director, BDM and OPS of all business opportunities, threats, or risks.
- Manage and foster all relationships with operations and purchasing, both internal and external. Relationships and the ability to continually develop and improve them is critical to success.
- Provide run rates of customers and forecasts of run rates one month in advance (minimum).
- Adhere to all of the processes and procedures instituted by LCI and identify areas of improvement for these procedures where necessary. Identify situations where processes and procedures will create undue customer frustrations and work with ops and the director to alleviate said frustrations.
- Facilitate all quoting activity and coordinating prototypes as required by the BDM sales activity.
- Have a strong working knowledge of all the features and benefits and technical specifications of all products within their division.
- Be the sales lead on all products assigned to them by the director or BDM.
- Accountable to upkeep all reports, spreadsheets, and other items as assigned by the director. Includes, but not limited to, required Salesforce data, sales trackers, rate sheets, quote tracker, heat maps, etc.
- Work with service, engineering, and the sales engineers to ensure all customer operational needs are met on both existing product and prototypes.
- Ability to teach and lead others toward improvement.
- Ability to identify improvement opportunities and provide guidance and leadership to facilitate successful resolution to issues.

Supervisory Responsibility This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring. Travel Travel will be moderate and would be primarily local during the business day. Annual local travel can exceed 30,000 miles per year. Required Education and Experience

- College Degree (Associates or Bachelors)
- Manufacturing or sales experience
- Demonstrated relationship building with key internal and customer purchasing and operations' teams.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend and overnight work is also necessary.
