This role is responsible for effectively managing and administrating the operations team for Delta's brand-new world-class Detroit. This position is a key leader on the Account core team responsible for ensuring quality delivery of Facility Management Operations while supporting the Project Management and Occupancy Planning functions. This individual will partner with Delta and additional service providers to maintain airport operations, overseeing a range of integrated facility management services supporting airport operations, ensuring all contract deliverables are met or exceeded, including operational uptime, cost savings initiatives, energy consumption reduction initiatives, and service improvements and introduction of best practices and innovations.
Responsibilities Relationship Management Maintain high client, customer, and user satisfaction with services provided, measured through quarterly KPIs and satisfaction surveys. Ensure effective integration of PDS, OP, and IFM Operations across all sites to ensure seamless delivery to the client and drive a one-team mentality. Drive superior performance through excellent people management Interface and develop relationships with peers in other regions and functions to ensure consistent delivery of global initiatives and practices Manage the performance and outcomes of assigned staff reporting to the position. Compliance Achieve contractual requirements and account annual goals, including but not limited to work order management metrics and all contractual KPI goals. Provide overall facility services per accounts' standard processes and procedures, including applying policies and programs and coordinating information. Ensure compliance with portfolio-wide initiatives and required local, state, and federal laws and regulations that pertain to the operating of facilities entrusted to the Facility Partners to manage on behalf of the client as owner. Process Management Manage, coordinate, and exercise functional responsibility for Facility Management services within assigned facilities and geography. Deliver regional/site/SBG operational budgets, including delivering contractual savings targets, measured by achieving annual budget targets and monthly/quarterly budget adherence targets as prescribed. Support prompt collection of management fees and reimbursements from 3rd party tenants occupying space with the accounts' owned premises. Ensure understanding of contract requirements across the organization. People Management Responsible for overall team management, staff development, and planning. Execute staff succession and growth plans. Involved in the compensation planning process. For every direct report, build actionable and measurable career development plans; direct report in consistent conversations regarding progress. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management/technical emphasis Minimum of 8-10 years facility management experience including knowledge of building systems and mechanical/electrical systems, architectural maintenance, and instrumentation/automation Proficient in Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite programs Strong organizational and management skills Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently Ability to function effectively in a dynamic work environment Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills; strong emphasis on customer service Excellent business writing and verbal communications Strong analytical ability Detail oriented Success working with subcontractors/vendors supporting mutual safety objectives |
