Position Summary:
Support the development and recommendations of cost estimates for projects to be included in multi-year capital plan by conducting site visits to assess existing conditions of retail locations of a large financial services client
Scope of assessments including but not limited to HVAC, facade, roof, parking lot, and utility upgrades at retail locations throughout the northeast
Recommend priority sites based on your site assessments, asset history, work order history, and life-safety concerns
Interact and collaborate with various internal and external clients, stakeholders, internal service providers, project managers, and vendors during capital plan development
Compare budget costs to benchmark pricing information, analyze quantities, and scope items
Support in developing and maintaining project historical cost benchmark for various project types
Prepare detailed cost estimates that include labor, materials, equipment, permit, etc
Skills /Qualifications
Background in project management, facilities management, MEP budget estimating and project schedules
Degree in engineering or a related field
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, detail oriented
Knowledge of industry standards and market conditions, costs, and cost databases
Strong understanding of real estate asset management
5-10 years construction experience
Location:
On-site -New York, NY
Travel up to 25%
