What this job involves -

Assists with the maintenance and repairs of a building in order to preserve the physical assets of the Building, Systems, and Equipment under the direction of the Maintenance Mechanic.

Your day to day:
Assist withgeneral interiorbuildingmaintenancefor thefacility.
Perform dailyfacility inspectionsand reporton existing conditions.
Monitorclientsecuritysystemsand spaceby performing tasks to ensure that hazards are not created. Escalate to the Maintenance Mechanic as necessary.
Identify lightingor equipmentissues and perform minorrepairs i.e., changing lightbulbsandwaterfilters.
Support client movesby movingoffice furniture, equipment and other materialsand delivering suppliesas requested.
Participate in response to emergency situations.
Followpropersafetyprocedureswhenstoring or usingequipmentor hazardous materials.
Assist with the Operational Compliance Program (OCP), complete technical and safety training as required.
Contribute to the account KPI's and SLA's.
Update work order status
status inticketing system.
Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.

Education/training
High school diploma or equivalent

Skills and knowledge
Knowledge and ability to comply with safety standards and procedures.
The ability to listen, understand and execute on assigned tasks.

Physical work requirements and work conditions
The ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously for extended periods of time.
The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.
The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects that may be 50+ pounds.
The ability to see and hear details in order to identify and diagnose problems.
