Position: Cost Analyst, Junior - DHS Location: Washington, DC Area Job Summary This position will provide experienced cost analysis and estimating support for Department of Homeland Security (DHS) programs. Years of Relevant Experience The position requires 2-5 years of cost analysis and estimating experience. DHS experience is desirable, but not required. Essential Job Functions The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related, and/or a logical assignment for this position. Other duties may be required and assigned. The Cost Analyst shall provide cost estimating related support and services. The Cost Analyst shall assist customers with developing procurement solutions through the use of mathematical, statistical, and operations research techniques. The Cost Analyst shall assist in the development of complex cost studies, prepare related documentation, and assist with analysis for systems and programs. The individual's activities include but are not limited to:
Education Requirements Bachelor's degree required; preferred in Mathematics, Business, Engineering, or related fields. Graduate and Post Graduate degrees are a plus and may substitute for years of experience. Skills Requirements
Security Requirements Must be a US citizen. Active Clearance not required, but Secret Clearance desired. Ability to obtain a clearance (up to Top Secret) may be required in the future. Travel Occasional travel required as needed by client/s and/or company |
