Mobile HVAC Technician Engineer

LOCATION:
On-site - Fayetteville, AR, to Fort Smith, AR

QUALIFICATIONS:
Should have a minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in aspects of HVAC and building repair and maintenance.
Position requires repair and maintenance on small to medium size commercial HVAC equipment, DX, Chilled and Condenser Water systems, (Liebert/Vertiv experience is a plus).

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:
Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment)
3rd Party Certification, preferred.
Candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license and perform Vehicle Safety Inspection.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a hands-on work position which requires completing the assigned work within JLL and CLIENT standards and guidelines.
The Mobile HVAC Technician will be responsible for responding to client generated work orders as well as scheduled preventative maintenance work orders generated within the Corrigo application. This work will primarily be performed in their assigned geographic territory and may occasionally require assisting technicians outside of their assigned territories.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Mobile Technician must have a self-starter attitude, with the skills and ability to independently plan and prioritize work assignments, perform duties with a minimum of direct supervision, and assist as a helper in other trades and in the general maintenance and operation of buildings and grounds.
Maintain the properties in peak operational condition, performing hands-on repair & maintenance of all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical, plumbing, building automation systems, card access systems, door & gates systems, building envelope systems, grounds and parking lots, interior finish systems, lighting systems, and various other R&M associated tasks as it pertains to assigned buildings.
Must be available for call-in/afterhours work, respond effectively to all emergencies and perform other duties as required.
Requires using mobile and/or pc app, to pick-up, open, document work performed and complete work orders.
Responsible for Submit P-card Receipts Daily
Identify energy savings opportunities at facilities including system and operational changes that can decrease the property's energy consumption.
Maintain liaison with Operations Manager or Regional Operations Manager regarding work orders, job completion dates and priorities, estimates, and information related to criticality operation of building and building systems.
Study and become familiar with the various items of equipment, and the methods required to use them properly, that are required in everyday activities. including building automation systems, fire / life safety systems, and any other building related equipment.
Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.

WORKING ENVIROMENT:
The position is truck based and includes travel to various locations within a specified geography.
Must be a team player committed to working in a quality environment. Will require daily interaction with teams in person, online conference, on the phone, and via email to perform the job.
Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas and co service vehicle. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.
Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
Must complete all required safety trainings as scheduled.
Practice Defensive Driving at all times.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES: (KSA)
Possess hands on skills and knowledge to complete required repairs and maintenance on commercial HVAC systems (including, chillers, cooling towers, glycol systems, chilled and condenser water pumps, motors, air handlers, automation/controls systems, and associated electrical systems) using industry standard tools and in accordance with all codes, laws, and regulations.
Ability to effectively use computers and computer programs (including use of Microsoft Office Suite), skill in use of the internet to navigate to and use web based applications, and ability to use handheld electronic devices (Tablets, PDA, cell phone, etc.).
Possess excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to effectively manage diverse relationships with team members, contractors, building occupants and clients.
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
Self starter with strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
Must be able to be able to demonstrate they can do the job including lifting and carrying 50 to 100 lbs.

Minimum Required Education:
Minimum of three (3) years' experience in commercial HVAC service and repairs or 5 years military experience that includes work on HVAC systems.
High school graduate or GED.
Must be able to pass a background check including drug screen and Motor Vehicle Report
Universal CFC certification required.
