Calibration Technician

Job Expectations
Perform calibrations of instruments on process and utility equipment, laboratory analytical equipment. Examples: Incubators, Freezers, Balances, Transmitters, Indicators, etc.
Assist the team with maintaining an up-to-date working spare parts inventory for the equipment/ systems the team is responsible for.
Ensure that calibration paperwork, instrument files, and work order documentation is completed with accurate information.
All work must be completed in accordance with CFRs, cGMPs, SOPs, and JLL policies.
Maintain an up to date cGMP training record.
Raise the bar of your performance by taking ownership of your continuous improvement.
Maintain an on-going two-way performance dialogue with area Manager.
Notify Manager of any training needs and advise them of any factors impacting your ability to perform.
Assist other staff members in raising the bar on their performance
Perform tasks in accordance with planning and scheduling
Conduct training to your co-worker
Contribute in a positive way toward the goals for Jones Lang LaSalle

Job Requirements & Basic Qualification
High school diploma required.
Perspective candidates should have 3+ years of Instrumentation/Calibration related work experience
An ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time and lift 35 pounds
Good organizational skills and the ability to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas through verbal and written form
Experienced in troubleshooting, problem solving, and training skills.
Ability to work assigned shifts to provide adequate coverage, and support on-call coverage as assigned.
Ability to work with computer-based controls is required.
Ability to read and understand technical material including operating manuals and standard engineering drawings is required.
Ability to complete GMP documentation and follow applicable standard operating procedures.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a cGMP environment.
Experience working with established GMP procedures in the calibration and maintenance of utility, process and lab equipment.
Experience working with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System - Maximo)
