Sr. Director, IT Services Program Strategy, COE

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide thought leadership to develop and implement the program strategy related to the service delivery, policies and procedures focusing on racking and stacking of servers, IT equipment, cabling and smart hands support, in line with industry specifications and standards (i.e. ISO, SOC)
Develop and support service development for expansion of IT services support
Collaborate with sales, solutions and operational teams to drive RFP responses and business growth within IT services
Build and deploy IT services operational compliance model for service delivery
Provide leadership for data center smart hands portfolio transitions, technical due diligence, incident response, root cause analysis, personnel development and establishing technical training programs related to IT infrastructure and services
Support service line growth within global data center sector while supporting IT services start-ups and transitions
Support data center business pursuits with divisional and regional business ensuring solutions are in alignment with the global smart-hands services strategy
Provide input to strategic data center product bundle to enhance JLL Data Center capabilities
Integrate smart-hands/IT services best practices and procedures within existing or newly developed program/playbook and Engineering Center of Excellence
Act as subject matter expert for IT services operational management within your assigned responsibility
Consult with clients and account leadership with all aspects smart-hands operations, management, account expansions and solution design
Maintain effective communications with external and internal clients, technical personnel and key management
Position could require up to 40% travel

Critical Competencies for Success:

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Info Tech, Business Management or a related field or equivalent experience and understanding of the facilities management business model
Minimum of 10 years of experience in leadership role for datacenter IT infrastructure, specific to racking / stacking servers, IT cabling and smart-hands support
Minimum of 10 years of experience with physical server hardware, switches, LAN/WAN concepts such as TCIP, switches, routers and vLANs
Minimum of 8 years of hands-on working experience with equipment hardware, cabling, rack/stack and smart-hands service delivery
Thorough understanding of IT, hardware and racking, cabling best practices and industry standards
Ability to meet travel requirements, if needed
Ability to interact with c-suite, internally and externally and present service capabilities
Thorough knowledge of sales process, ability to convert prospect clients to solution/transition phase
Ability to articulate value proposition to prospect clients(c-suite) and deliver on solution
Thorough understanding of IT raised floor, co-location and hyper-scale environments
Prior experience with development of global critical facilities programs and procedures
