Job Description:
Receiving/storing incoming furniture and updating the inventory management system Purchase Order/Bill of Lading receiving and reconciliation. Unloading/loading truck shipments as necessary Reviewing incoming furniture, determine condition, and recommend refurbishment as necessary. Processing requests to pull furniture and stage it for pickup Performing asset counts Maintaining a clean/organized warehouse Performing minor furniture repairs as needed Specific Job Skill / Requirements: Proficient in the use of computers/smartphones Ability read and prioritize furniture requests based on due dates. Ability to work independently and complete assignments with minimal supervision. Knowledgeable or experienced with hand and power tools, dollies, and other moving equipment. Knowledgeable or have experience in a 5S warehouse environment preferred. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Experience with office furniture systems preferred, but not necessary. Job Conditions: Demanding, fast-paced work environment Must be able to lift/push 75 lbs Must be able to walk up to 8 hrs a day | |
