As an Operating Engineer, you will embark on a thrilling journey where no two days are the same. You will be entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining and optimizing facility performance, using your problem-solving skills to address challenges and maximize efficiency. From troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical systems to implementing preventive maintenance programs, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the facility operates at peak performance.

Here is some of what you'll do:
Performs maintenance, and monitoring repairs to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems for the facility to keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned.

Maintains responsibility for facility services, preventative maintenance, purchasing and inventory control, contracted maintenance, general maintenance, and technical proficiency.

Maintains the condition of the property equipment which includes cleaning, inspecting, calibrating, and changing parts to maintain the HVAC systems and associated equipment at optimum performance levels.

Review monthly client service request summaries to pinpoint and correct recurrent operational problems.

Evaluates vendors and suppliers regularly about quality and competitive pricing.

Verifies the accuracy of deliveries for count, pricing, and description.

Records readings and make adjustments where necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment.

Complies with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials; maintains a clean and safe workplace.

Perform periodic checks of tool and instrument inventory.

Monitors the quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors.

Here is who we are looking for:
Required
2+ years of building engineering experience including generators, chillers, boilers, UPS systems, and cooling towers.

Experience with BAS systems and pneumatics.

CMMS/Work order systems experience

Computer literate

Preferred
EPA Universal

Schedule: Monday - Friday day shift with overtime as needed.
Pay $28.84 - 31.73 hourly
