2nd or 3rd Shift Electrician working at an automotive production facility. Requires minimum of State of Michigan or UAW journeyman's card. $36.29/hr + shift differential.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, maintain or alter electrical services, equipment and controls, using approved and properly sized wire, conduit, raceways and equipment.
Work will be performed both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
A solid understanding of NFPA 70E is required, and employees are expected to work on equipment in the Arc Flash PPE that is necessary to perform the work. *
Work with high- and low-voltage systems, to troubleshoot and repair.
Maintain work area and equipment in a safe, efficient and clean operating conditions. Strictly adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
Report to supervisor any equipment in need of repair or any unsafe situation or condition.
Operate efficiently, all hand/power tools, test instruments and equipment normally used by this trade and maintain/return in good condition.
Assist in performing other duties, including work of other trades as required.

Qualifications High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Journeyman Electrical License.
Valid state driver's license in good standing.
2 years minimum trade experience (trade license preferred).
Superior customer service skills and orientation.
Ability to maintain professionalism always and under stressful situations.
Ability to multi-task and work without direction supervision.
Attention to detail a must CMMS and/or data base experience a plus.
Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints.
Strong organizational skills and collaborative style needed.
Available for call-in work and perform other duties as required.
Special RequirementsMust be able to perform physical activities such as bending, standing, climbing or walking.
Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in Building Maintenance Must be able to understand the need for Proper Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary to perform a specific function safely.
