We are seeking a Senior Accounting Associate to support JLL's NYC Leasing business. This role will have several professional-level accounting and finance responsibilities as detailed below. You will report to the NY Finance Manager and be part of a broader team supporting JLL's Markets business in the Northeast.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Month-end close procedures: ensure that deadlines are met and data provided is accurate (submitting revenue accruals, tracking deal closings for revenue recognition purposes, entering journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations).
Prepare selected parts of monthly financial package for business line leads and provide ad-hoc analysis/follow-up as requested.
Assist with preparing quarterly forecasts.
Interact with brokers and operations team to ensure the timely and accurate closing of leasing transactions.
Assist with accounts receivable tracking and research on past-due items.
Assist the AR team with cash application processes.
Accounts payable support for expenses, co-broker payments, and client rebates.
Analyze deal pipelines for revenue forecasting purposes.
Assist operational leads and brokers/admins with expense submissions and reimbursement requests.
Coordinate and track intercompany fee shares between JLL entities.
Commission analysis and approvals for broker payments.
Required experience and skills:
Accounting degree.
Experience (2+ years) working in an accounting/finance capacity in a corporate environment, with public company experience preferred.
Knowledge of the commercial real estate industry is a plus.
Financial systems experience, with Oracle/Peoplesoft preferred.
Ability to handle multiple deliverables on a tight timeline.
Ability to communicate effectively with various internal stakeholders (including many non-finance personnel).
Collaborative and team-focused mentality.
Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
History of helping improve processes and gain efficiencies.
