Do you have commercial building maintenance experience? If so, consider this awesome opportunity! JLL is seeking a Building Engineerin Wilmington, DE.

Our Building Engineers assist in the hands-on maintenance of a multi-building system for the safe, efficient, and proper operations of all assigned properties for a valued JLL Client. You will perform minor repairs and help operate, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance on the building systems as necessary. You will maintain, monitor, and perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical equipment, which may include mechanical (including HVAC, computer room air conditioners, chillers, and plumbing) electrical (including UPS, DC battery systems, PDU, generators, transfer switches, and switchgear), cabling, fire detection and suppression, life safety, lighting, temperature control systems, building management systems and digital systems

Here is some of what you will do:
Perform maintenance, and monitor repairs to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems for the facility to keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned.

Maintain responsibility for facility services, preventative maintenance, purchasing and inventory control, contracted maintenance, general maintenance, and technical proficiency.

Arrange for PM service visits, repairs, and documentation for Emergency Generators, Air compressors, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Kitchen Hood cleaning, cooling towers, and all other building operations.

Create SOPs, EOPs, and MOPs to ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently

Perform assigned facility rounds and by being proactive; report on conditions impacting building appearance, satisfactory client occupancy, and operations

Monitor BMS systems, respond to alarms, and diagnose to resolution

Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain plumbing components including restroom fixtures, flush valves, water fountains, sinks, drains, water heaters, piping, sump pumps

Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain electrical components including all types of lamp replacement, ballast replacement, fixtures, motors, basic wiring components

Maintain the condition of the property equipment which includes cleaning, inspecting, calibrating, and changing parts to maintain the HVAC systems and associated equipment at optimum performance levels.

Record readings and make adjustments where necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment.

Comply with departmental safety policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials; maintain a clean and safe workplace.

Monitors the quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors.

Respond, document, and close out work orders through the CMMS system.

Interface professionally with property management personnel, vendors, and contractors, and perform vendor coordination and oversight

Here is who we are looking for:
Required
High school diploma or GED

2+ years of experience in the commercial building maintenance industry

Possess a Universal CFC certification.

Preferred
An accredited trade school degree in HVAC, electronic, or other industry-related trade, or Union training and certification.

Schedule: Monday - Friday with on-call and overtime required.
Pay $31.73 - 42.30 hourly
