The Department of Radiology at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, affiliated with the USC Keck School of Medicine, is actively searching for a Research Radiologist to join the faculty team as an Assistant Professor of Research Radiology. This full-time position will come with an appropriate faculty appointment based on the candidate experience.

Applicants will have a Ph.D. degree or equivalent, completed fellowship training in Research Radiology, and ABR certification in Diagnostic Radiology with Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) eligible or certified in Pediatric Interventional Radiology. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record for both clinical and educational achievement in Pediatric Interventional Radiology. Research opportunities both within the department and across the institution are many and are encouraged.

CHLA is a 600-bed dedicated pediatric hospital affiliated with USC. CHLA has the full spectrum of pediatric subspecialties that service a large, diverse population of children in the greater Los Angeles and Southern California areas.

The Department of Radiology at CHLA is a 16-physician department performing 160,000 imaging studies per year. The department has 6 MRls: two 1.5 Tesla, two 3 Tesla clinical instruments (a third being added this year), a research 3T clinical magnet, and an 11.7T Bruker research magnet. CT SPECT, CT PET, DEXA, and all other imaging modalities are also present. The department has an ACGME-ac credited Pediatric Radiology fellowship program, a Pediatric Neuroradiology fellowship program, and rotating radiology residents from various academic institutions across Southern California.

The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000-$200,000. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.

This position is a continuing appointment, non-tenure eligible. Academic appointment in the Department of Radiology, rank, and salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position for patient care, teaching, and research.
