The duties of a Full Stack Engineer require a high degree of specialized expertise and skill in maintaining established standards of quality and accuracy. Drive, determination and a self-disciplined approach to achieving results that meet these established criteria are necessary for successful job performance. The job environment is structured, and job expectations are clear. While the pace of the work is faster than average, quality is never compromised. The focus of communication and organizational relationships is based on technical expertise. The work requires specialized technical problem solving and ingenuity while working within approved organizational systems and technology, and the demonstration of the values of integrity, quality and caution. New ideas and concepts are also important but will be quickly, yet carefully analyzed and tested before communication and adoption. If the job involves managing others, there is a need for someone who can exercise the necessary authority to assure policies and procedures are followed and time frames are met. At the same time, it will be necessary to give subordinates structured opportunity to develop their own expertise and capability for quality work to assure effective delegation and shared responsibility for work output. It is expected that coaching and training support for achieving effective delegation will be required. The position encompasses a defined span of control and opportunity for someone who engenders trust, demonstrates a sense of urgency and assures consistent achievement of quality standards. The work requires making decisions that support company guidelines authoritatively and quickly.

As a Full Stack Engineer, your responsibilities include aiding in designing, developing, deploying, documenting, and maintaining web/mobile and backend services. You will mentor junior team members and collaborate closely with product, design, and architecture teams to translate business requirements and user interface designs into robust code components. You will take in detailed solution designs of product requirements and implement, test, deliver, and maintain these solutions while ensuring comprehensive documentation.

You will work collaboratively with your engineering team and help triage and resolve errors and defects. Your role involves participating in assessing technical feasibility and estimating feature complexity along with your engineering team driven by product priorities. Additionally, you will conduct user interface, design, and code reviews, advocating for and promoting best practices and standards.

Furthermore, as a Full Stack Engineer, you will liaise with cross-functional teams to deliver product priorities from discovery through delivery. You will actively research and aid in evaluating emerging technologies and potential new product features, contributing to the reduction of technical debt contributing to the success of delivered features.

Your role also entails:



  • Serving as the primary point of contact for specific product areas and maintaining general awareness of other areas.
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures, completing administrative tasks punctually, and supporting the company's goals and values.
  • Participating in disaster recovery planning and fostering positive relationships with colleagues, treating everyone with respect and consideration regardless of their position.
  • Fulfilling additional duties as assigned.


All associates are expected to maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures related to the position, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.

Minimum Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications.



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in full stack development with proficiency in multiple programming languages such as JavaScript (Node.js, React, Angular, etc.), preferred in a bank setting.


  • Strong understanding and application of software engineering best practices, including SOLID principles, design patterns, and coding standards.
  • Ability to refactor codebase to improve readability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and ORM technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with writing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure code reliability and stability.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Desired Qualifications: To be considered an ideal candidate, you should possess some of the following qualifications:



  • Advanced degree or certification related to field
  • Experience developing modern frontend apps using React framework
  • Knowledge of modern authentication and authorization mechanisms
  • Excellent presentation skills for communicating both business-oriented solutions and advanced technical concepts
  • Experience in the FinTech space
  • Been part of product journey from discovery to delivery

Work Environment:



  • Remote office environment, manager permitting, with traditional hours
  • Sitting for extended periods of time (typically no longer than 8 hours)
  • Must be able to work at a rapid pace for long periods of time (typically no longer than 8 hours)
  • Must be able to work overtime to the extent necessary
  • Must be able to travel - estimated at 5% to 10% of the time
