Job Summary:
The Department of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a child neurologist with subspeciality training in Epilepsy, Stroke, Neuroimmunology, Movement Disorders, or general pediatric neurologists interested in joining our expanding Pediatric Neurology and Comprehensive Epilepsy Programs at UW Hospital and Clinics, American Family Children's Hospital and affiliated locations. The Section of Pediatric Neurology has recruited six pediatric epileptologists and six pediatric neurologists with subspecialty training in neuromuscular diseases, sleep, headache, and neonatal neurology and plans to expand further. This position includes opportunities for teaching and research. Responsibilities: The positions include opportunities for teaching, clinical and research activities in an academic environment with pediatric and adult epileptologists, general pediatric neurologists, faculty in other services including pediatrics, neuropsychology, neurosurgery, neuroradiology, clinical neurophysiology and basic science research faculty. Education: Required Qualifications: Must have completed a child neurology residency program, fellowship trained in Epilepsy, Stroke, Neuroimmunology, Movement Disorders, or equivalent experience. Must have a WI medical license by the time of appointment. Must be ABPN or AOBNP board eligible or certified in Neurology with special qualifications in child neurology.
