Position Highlights:

  • Position: Medical Assistant Certified
  • Location: Elmhurst Cancer Center 177 E. Brush Hill Road Elmhurst, IL.
  • Full Time: 40 hours
  • Hours: 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday, Includes weekend and holiday rotations

What you will need:

Required Education, Experience and/or Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current certification or registration through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), American Medical Technologies (AMT), National Center for Medical Assistants (NCMA), American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
  • Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association for healthcare providers or, in case of practice acquisition, certification must be obtained within three months of hire date.
  • A valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off-site location. If the incumbent uses their personal vehicle, the incumbent must maintain automobile liability coverage as required by law and evidence of such coverage may be requested.

Preferred Education, Skills and/or Experience:

  • A minimum of six months of clinical experience
