Endeavor Health Medical Group (NorthShore), the principal academic affiliate of The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, is currently seeking a full-time, dynamic, team-oriented Palliative Care physician to join the Department of Medicine.

We are a rapidly growing interdisciplinary team focused on extending access to Palliative services throughout the trajectories of serious illnesses in both clinic and hospital settings.

Join a collegial team of:

• 4 physicians that are board certified in Hospital and Palliative Medicine with specialties in geriatrics, oncology and hospital medicine
• 9 APNs with diverse backgrounds
• 1Social Worker.

Position Highlights

• You will join our expanding outpatient clinic with nursing support, and opportunities for both independent and joint visits with referring subspecialists in a friendly and collegial environment

• We have a strong APP workforce, which you will help guide and support in the outpatient setting

• Participation in weeknight and weekend call, prorated on your FTE status

• Education of Internal Medicine, Family Medicine residents, Palliative Medicine fellows

Experience and Qualifications

• Board certified in your primary specialty
• BE/BC for the ABIM Hospice and Palliative Medicine certification exam
• DEA license
• Illinois Medical License or pending
