Change Management Practitioner

As a Change Management Practitioner, you will be the driving force behind designing, executing, and evolving transformational change strategies supporting large scale initiatives across Endeavor Health. Your mission? To ignite passion, spark enthusiasm, and rally teams around monumental shifts in culture, behavior, technology, and workflows.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Change Management Practitioner

  • Location: Evanston, IL and Warrenville, IL

  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time

  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

  • Required Travel: travel to other Endeavor Health locations will be required as needed

What you will do:

  • Provides change management support for projects with robust change needs; utilizing change framework, toolkits, and resources from Endeavor Change Management Center of Excellence

  • Create and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize team member adoption and usage and minimize resistance

  • Identifies stakeholders, change impacts, needed change tactics, resistance, and resistance mitigation tactics

  • Aligns change management activities with overall project timelines

  • Understands how changes will impact team members affected by the project

  • Coach: Project Sponsors in creating Change Stories; People managers in supporting team members through change; Project managers in building comprehensive change plans

  • Partners with Communications team, EPMO leadership team, CEO Council, and Portfolio Sponsors to develop change, communication, and training approach and strategies.

  • Deliver change management training on change framework, tools and templates, and change strategies: resistance management, rewards and recognition, etc.

  • Provide project-level support for projects with robust change needs

  • Support Change Champion network and institutional knowledge building

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree, required

  • Certification: Change Management Practitioner through a recognized Change Management organization. PMP certification is a plus.

  • Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in change management, including experience with large-scale change efforts

  • Unique or Preferred Skills:

    • Build stakeholder registers, conduct change impact assessments, coach executives, people managers, and project managers on change management skills and resistance mitigation

    • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools. Prosci/ADKAR familiarity.

    • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and delivering change management strategies for large scale transformations

    • Ability to drive integration and change with a system mindset

    • Exceptional listening and written and verbal communications skills

    • Demonstration of flexibility and adaptability; able to work in ambiguous situations

    • Understanding of how people go through change and the change process

    • Ability to drive integration and change with a system mindset

    • Ability to coach and facilitate groups

    • Ability to clearly articulate and present messages to a variety of audiences

    • Strong collaboration and relationship management skills

    • Ability to work with and influence others toward a common goal

    • Demonstration of strong project management capabilities to take ideas to solutions
