Physician - Orthopedic Trauma - Grand Rapids - 221 Michigan Street

The Orthopedic Trauma Section is currently 5 Fellowship trained Orthopedic Trauma surgeons looking for an additional Orthopedic Trauma surgeon due to increasing clinical volumes.

The ideal candidate will specialize in management and treatment of adult upper and lower extremity fractures and pelvic/acetabular fractures. The candidate is expected to be a team player with impeccable collegiality. Candidate is expected to practice by example with respect to work ethic, integrity, and collegiality. High emotional intelligence and maturity is a must.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO)
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Trauma from an accredited institution
  • Must be able to obtain full MI license
  • Required Bachelor's Degree
  • LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or
  • LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
  • CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required
  • CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required
