Job Summary:
The Jutras lab is recruiting an eager, talented postdoctoral associate to study the biology and pathogenesis of Borrelia burgdorferi- the Lyme disease spirochete. We are seeking someone with exceptional expertise in mouse immunology and/or bacteriology to join our team.

Please note: Occasional weekends and evenings as requested and with some possible travel, as required.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Conducting molecular, cellular, and/or experimental models of infection
- Designing experimental approaches, data analysis, background research
- Preparing manuscripts, grant writing, and other scholarly activities
Miscellaneous
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- PhD in Microbiology, Immunology, Molecular Biology (or related fields)
Minimum Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities.)
- Molecular Biology techniques
- Able/willing to perform bacterial infectious disease studies in experimental animal models
- Data analytics
- Data presentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Productive PhD in an active and engaged environment

- Advanced microscopy
- In vitro and ex vivo mouse immunology
