The Department of Cardiology at Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan is recruiting a full-time Heart Failure Cardiology Specialist. Position Overview: As an Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist, you will be a key member of a developing team, working to provide high quality HF care via an inpatient consultative service, outpatient clinic, and procedural work including right heart cath, vasodilator studies, pulmonary artery sensor implantation, and endomyocardial biopsy. Participation in other procedures including left heart work and/or imaging studies may be discussed in alignment with training and documented skills. Interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach with a focus on patient care and communication is mandatory. APP support is present. Shared care for VAD and transplant patients is under development, with intent to become a VAD implanting center in the future. This represents a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to program development under the guidance of experienced leadership at a respected cardiovascular institution.
