Position Title: Senior Program Manager

Location: Washington, D.C. with potential travel to other Customer facilities

Job Summary:

The Senior Program Manager (PM) will be responsible for leading and managing an Acquisition Services focused BPA Program within the Federal Customer. This role requires extensive experience in program management, particularly in federal government acquisition programs. The Senior PM will oversee multiple delivery orders, each managed by a Project Manager or Task Lead, ensuring that all technical and contractual requirements are met. The Senior PM will also be responsible for client negotiations, interfacing with senior management, and making critical decisions that impact overall program implementation.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Team Management Experience: Demonstrated experience managing 10-12 simultaneous delivery orders, each with a Project Manager or Task Lead.
  • Educational Background: Master's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional Experience: 15 years of experience in program management, including 5 years as a Senior Program Manager.
  • Certification: At least one, preferably more than one, of the following: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA), or FAC-P/PM Certification Level III.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Federal Acquisition Programs: 15 years of experience directly supporting complex federal government acquisition programs/projects.
  • Experience in Large-Scale Program Management: 15 years of experience in initiating, planning, developing, executing/managing, monitoring, controlling, and closing large-scale programs with acquisition support markets.
  • Multiple Certifications: Holding more than one of the required certifications (PMP, DAWIA, FAC-P/PM Level III) is highly desirable.
