Description:

Specialist will manage real estate (pre-construction) efforts in support of 4G/5G macro new build and/or modification programs in the Great Plains Submarket (MN, IA, NE, SD, ND).

This involves vendor oversight of site acquisition and A&E partners to successfully navigate various milestones to get to a Real Estate Complete work product.

Work involves supervising third party vendors in performing due diligence, negotiating leases or amendments, and obtaining governmental approvals and permits.

Specialist is expected to work as a self-starter to drive their projects and effectively prioritize multiple competing projects.

Must be able to collaborate with other internal teams such as the Outreach Team, RF, construction, transport, and legal to achieve successful outcomes.

Having a proven track record in areas of project management, ability to accurately forecast deliverables, maintain database information fields, and understanding the impact of the job to the overall business will be critical to this position.

Must have the ability to identify roadblocks, clearly describe the situation, and provide options and solutions which result in the best business decision.

Role will include PO management.

Assist with special projects as they come up, which may include site audit review, scoping for special projects, routing deal memo packages, assisting other departments, vendors and landlords with other RE requests, etc.

Desired Skills:

Strong Project Management or Site Acquisition experience, preferably in telecom/wireless industry.

Understanding of the Job Description and necessary skills and experience to perform with confidence.

Ability to work under pressure to manage and meet aggressive timelines and goals.

Excellent communication skills with a positive team-focused energy and drive.

Creative problem solver that is able to assemble and evaluate information to determine paths to success.

Experience with database tracking systems/tools - experience with processes and tools (FUZE) preferred.

Competency in Microsoft Word & Excel and Google Suite (Gmail, shared Calendars Google Docs, Drive) applications.

College degree or established work experience.

Logistics:

Hybrid work environment, two days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday) in Bloomington, MN office.

Remote applicants will be considered for a remote home-based position outside of Bloomington area depending on qualifications and circumstances.

12 month initial contract term, potential for 30 month tenure total.
