Cape Fox is seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team in support of a government customer. The ideal Records Management Support Services candidate will be able to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Record Management Support Services in support of the Division of Facilities, Management, and Construction (DFMC). This position is contingent upon award. Core Duties:
- Program Support Services: In addition to records management support services for the DFMC, also perform a variety of general and specialized office clerical in combination with office automation work related to support services for the organization and its programs, which primarily involve construction and repair of facilities
- Produce a wide range of documents, use of software including database management, electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, desktop publishing, and other similar software to enter, revise, sort and calculate, retrieve, and finalize data for a variety of purposes (e.g., periodic and special reports, correspondence, accountings, procurement, memoranda, letters, etc.)
- Responsible for determining effective ways to display information, accuracy, format, spacing, spelling, punctuation, and grammatical correctness
- Assist in the development of the electronic records filing schematic in accordance with the Indian Affairs and the Departmental Records Schedule
- Responsible for transition of DFMC paper records to the newly identified electronic records program outlined in Department of Interior (DOI)/BIA/NARA records management regulations and guidance
- Maintain and organize files for correspondence, report directives, contracts, budget, personnel, and other program administration materials including legal documents for programs
- Determine when files have served their purpose or useful life and whether materials are to be retained in the office or arrange for disposition and transfer of records according to Records Management policies
- Maintain subject matter files and records that relate to the work of the office by compliance with DOI/BIA/NARA records management regulations and guidance
- Conduct reviews of the existing No Child Left Behind of 2016
- Replacement School Construction Project files to ensure Project Managers properly filing records based on the DFMC Project Filing Convention
- Serve as the records POC for retrieval of records housed within the DFMC office and coordinates with DFMC Project and Program Managers when records are ready for disposition and archival
- Conduct inventory and provides guidance to the government when records are ready for disposition
- Deliver a weekly report on the progress of the records transfer to DFMC management every Friday before the close of business
- Deliver an overall monthly status report no later than the last day of the month
