ISPA Technology is seeking a highly skilled Information Systems Security Engineer to join our team in Panama City Beach, FL next quarter. We are currently accepting applications for consideration for this upcoming position. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of embedded systems security, experience working with DoD clients, and a passion for protecting sensitive information.
Responsibilities
Gather and analyze security requirements for embedded systems.
Develop and implement security controls to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities.
Conduct vulnerability assessments using tools such as ACAS and SCAP.
Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams.
Ensure compliance with DoD security standards and regulations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to address security concerns and incidents.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging security threats and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Security, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DoD information systems security environment.
Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture and security principles.
Proficiency in Windows operating systems.
Experience with vulnerability assessment tools (ACAS, SCAP).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
IAT Level II certification required. (i.e. Security+)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Linux operating systems.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell).
Technical writing skills.
Experience with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, and JIRA.
