Description

The undergraduate student will work alongside Dr. Kirsten Dodson on an NSF-funded research grant. The project will study the impact of humanitarian projects on students professionally and their views of diversity and inclusion. The student will receive mentoring throughout the project as well as participate in various research activities including data collection through surveys and interviews and data analysis toward dissemination.

Education: The student should be a current undergraduate student in the college of engineering at Lipscomb.

Experience: Experience with humanitarian engineering projects or social justice initiatives is preferred.

Job Related Skills: The student should be prepared to work both independently and as a team member. The student should be a good communicator, organized, a hard worker, and excited to learn.

May be Federal Work Study eligible.
