Core Responsibilities:



  • Provide leadership to Site CBMs, Finance, and Sales Directors in refinement of bid models and approval packs considering best commercial/contract practices and unique deal considerations.
  • Defend business case to leadership team and provide support analysis/data as required to support efficient approval of deals.
  • Merge multi-site bids into global Barnes Aerospace business cases
  • Drive commercial claims process with sites. Drive pricing objectives, commercial initiatives, and ensure all annual contract pricing across the sites is being completed per contract terms and timing.
  • Complete sector wide contract data analysis.
  • Evaluate loss making parts across the group.
  • Partner with Engineering to develop a plan that could include commercial strategy to address with customer and drive cross functional team to execute.
  • Support contract extension strategy development and negotiations through conglomeration of data, market data etc.to support Barnes Aerospace position.



Qualifications:



  • 3-5+ years required in an aviation-based finance or commercial environment.
  • Strong data analytics and ability to convert analysis into actions & recommendations.
  • Ability to work across matrixed environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Ability to use technology effectively and efficiently to manage workload in a remote environment.
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint especially) and knowledge of Salesforce would be beneficial.
  • A valid US Passport or legal permanent residency in the US.



Education Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, or business preferred, or 5+ years of experience.
